An alleged crime lord has helped arrange a £200million mega-fight between world heavyweight champs Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
The rivals have agreed to go toe-to-toe in the most lucrative bout in British boxing history. And in an Instagram post, Fury praised his “adviser” Daniel Kinahan, for getting the deal “over the line”.
Although he has never been convicted, Kinahan has been named in legal proceedings as an organised crime boss. Outraged political leaders across the Irish Sea have urged the British Government and broadcasters to intervene.
Watford-born Joshua and Manchester-born Fury hope to meet next year, with Saudi Arabia the favourite to host a fight that could earn them £100million each.
