Tyler Perry to cover Rayshard Brooks’ funeral costs as stars call for justice after he was shot dead by police

metro.co.uksupports HTML5 videoThe grieving family of Rayshard Brooks have revealed that media mogul Tyler Perry has offered to cover the cost of his funeral.Rayshard, a 27-year-old black man, died on Friday (12 June) after a white police officer in Atlanta shot him during an arrest.
The Fulton county medical examiner’s office have determined the cause of death as a homicide with Rayshard suffering gunshot wounds to the back.
It’s reported that police were called to a Wendy’s fast-food restaurant after Rayshard allegedly fell asleep in his car, blocking the entrance.
Rayshard is alleged to have resisted arrest before grabbing one of the officer’s tasers and running away. An officer then shot him dead.
