Katie Price tells TOWIE's Vas J Morgan 'stay strong' as he admits sobriety lapse

Katie Price has sent her support to Vas J Morgan in the wake of him admitting he’s recently had a lapse in his sobriety journey, after being sober for four years.The TV personality and magazine editor, 33, took to Instagram on Tuesday 22 February and candidly revealed to his 939,000 followers that he’d recently had a drink for the first time in four years.

He wrote: "Today I am 2 days sober. I have always been so open and honest with you all about my mental health and sobriety.  "It comes with great regret and shame that I had a huge lapse in judgement this weekend.

I had a drink for the first time in 4 years, 2 months and 18 days in hopes of suppressing the deep pain I was suffering." Vas continued: "I was alone and struggling and made a error in judgement.

I quickly forgot all the extremely important tools I had at my disposal: call you support system: friends and family being the most important. “I decided to face my problems and (big mistake) I was ashamed to talk about the pain I was feeling and didn’t want to burden anyone.
