Police were called to reports of a concern for the welfare of a man on Cook Street in Eccles at around 7.26am on Tuesday (June 22).
Emergency services attended and discovered the body of a 48-year-old man, who was later identified as Mr Smith. Following an investigation into the death, two teenagers have now been arrested.
