Aubrey Padi, 46, has been charged with the murder of 43-year-old Tamara Padi. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (Saturday).
Police were called at around 3.40am on Wednesday (July 7) by paramedics requesting assistance at a house on Lake Road. Officers attended and found a woman had been stabbed multiple times.
She was taken to hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead a short while later. The woman was later identified as Tamara Padi.
