Two teenage girls are in hospital after reportedly being "stabbed in the back" in a horror broad daylight attack. Horrified eyewitnesses told how the girls - aged 16 and 17 - were covered in blood as paramedics treated them at a bus stop in West Norwood on Sunday afternoon.
A local shopkeeper described hearing the commotion before finding the teenagers injured on the street outside with one lying on the floor and another sitting down.
They were taken to hospital where the younger girl remains in a "serious but stable" condition while the older girl's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
