The pair, from Scotland, were stopped by officers as they headed to Anglesey to meet their pals yesterday. They were pulled over for having no insurance before cops discovered they had already clocked up 300 miles.
Welsh police have now confirmed the pair have been reported for flouting coronavirus rules, as reported by North Wales Live.
In a short statement, North Wales Police Force said: "Two drivers reported in Valley for driving without insurance. "Also reported for breaching Covid travel restrictions having travelled from Scotland to see friends." The cross-country dash comes after tougher lockdown
