He says they were forced to mix with Covid rule-breakers including dental and optician workers who were flouting lockdown regulations at the weekend.

House gatherings are forbidden after all of mainland Scotland was placed into Level 4 lockdown restrictions on Boxing Day. Meanwhile serious concerns have been raised about the cleanliness of a Skye nursing home that is already being investigated by a special Crown Office unit set up to probe Covid -linked deaths.
