Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Trafford Centre puts new rules in place for when shops reopen in June

Following on from Boris Johnson's announcement last night, shoppers in the UK have been questioning which 'non-essential' stores will be first to reopen on June 15.

We're yet to be told exactly which stores are reopening, and it's important to note that shops will only be able to open if they can follow the strict guidelines and risk assessments that are being set out by the government.

That said, intu bosses have already put the wheels in motion in terms of planning for increased shopper footfall at the Trafford Centre.

A Trafford Centre spokesperson told Manchester Evening News that a plan has been drawn up to keep everyone who visits or works there safe.
