A Tory minister says Prince Harry is "blowing up his family" and "what Meghan wants, Meghan gets" after the couple's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Zac Goldsmith, 46, has waded into the row on Twitter in response to claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had "dropped bomb after heavy bomb on Buckingham Palace".

Boris Johnson has spent much of the day avoiding commenting on the royal row but one of his ministers has shown no such restraint on social media.

The Government minister and life peer appeared to want to clarify that Harry, 36, was attacking his own family - not just the royal institution.
