The 45-year-old golf champion is on the mend after the “microdiscectomy procedure to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching his nerve after experiencing discomfort following the PNC Championship.” Tiger‘s team shared a message on his official Twitter account with a message to fans on his condition.
The golfer himself shared that he is looking forward “to begin training and am focused on getting back out on Tour.” This is Tiger‘s fifth back surgery since 2014, when he first alleviated the pain of the pinched nerve.
