dailyrecord.co.ukThree inmates have died at Addiewell prison since the start of this year.Cieran Deegan, 32, passed away while in custody at HMP Addiewell on March 3, 69-year-old Robert Norris died on February 25 and Gordon Smith, 75 passed away on 31 January.The SPS has confirmed that the deaths were reported to police and Fatal Accident enquiries will be held.A spokesperson for the SPS said: “With each death in custody, Police Scotland are advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
