A charity that supports people who have been the victim of crime needs new volunteers to help provide its vital service. Victim Support is looking to recruit new volunteers that will make a difference to hundreds of lives.
The charity’s support workers and volunteers are available to victims of crime and witnesses in person, over the phone and in the courts.
You can access its services - which are free, independent and confidential - regardless of whether you have reported the crime or not to the police.
Stephanie Simpson, co-ordinator for Victim Support West Lothian, said: “We are currently low on volunteer numbers within our West Lothian services. “Volunteers are an essential part of our organisation, delivering much needed support to people affected by crime. “Also, it can be a very rewarding role to those who come on board with us. “I’ve been volunteering with Victim Support Scotland for just about two years.
