Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be taking a break from This Morning for a fortnight as they head off for the Easter holidays.

However, it's not all doom and gloom, as some fan favourites will be stepping in for the hosts instead - and viewers will not be disappointed.Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who usually head up the Friday episodes of the weekday show, will be in for an entire week from Monday, April 4, while Phil ad Holly are away.The following week Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay will cover and take over presenting duties from April 11, before stepping down once more on Friday 15.Alison and Dermot will be back to business on Good Friday, as well as heading up a special show on Monday 18.Once the holidays are all wrapped up, Holly and Phil will happily return to their usual duties and be firmly back on screens on Tuesday, April 19 - likely feeling refreshed and recuperated.There have been plenty of presenter shake-ups over the past couple of years - some planned and some unplanned - with the hosts catching Covid-19 or booking time off.Holly and Phil both take holidays off on a regular basis, with their fellow hosting team stepping in for them across the February half term too.And that wasn't the only time fellow stars have needed to stand in for the hosts on the ITV show, with both Holly and Phil contracting Covid-19 since the new year.Holly most recently tested positive for the virus, resulting in her needing a week off the show and missing the Dancing On Ice semi-final, with Phil presenting the skating show solo.However, he wasn't along when it came to his day job, as both Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond stepped in to give him a hand.ITV has a rotation of hosts who regularly step up if one of the.
