This Morning programme were left "disgusted" after the professional speed eater chowed down on 19 chicken nuggets in the space of just 60 seconds during the show.Leah Shutkever holds 27 official world record titles for speed eating, and runs a YouTube channel where she documents her challenges.The Brit even once faced off against strongman Eddie Hall, defeating him in an enormous fish and chips challenge.The former bikini model manages to achieve these feats despite maintaining a slight figure, and she told This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary that she discovered the world of speed eating after accepting a dare from her brother.“I probably work the hardest trying not to fit the idea of what a competitive eater would look like,” she admitted.“At the time that I was dieting for a bikini competition, my brother was going to a local restaurant attempting a food challenge, 10 weeks consecutively failed it, and I called him out as sisters do.”So, when her brother challenged her to have a go, she went along to the restaurant and, after smashing the record, became known as “the girl that eats the food”.And despite now working full-time as a professional eater, Leah revealed that she had been working a typical 9-5 as a commercial interior designer before her radical career change.Leah then left viewers gobsmacked by attempting to match her record of eating 19 chicken nuggets in the space of 60 seconds.Alison and Dermott were left amazed as Leah downed two nuggets at a time while washing away the remnants with frequent sips from a bottle of fruit squash.“Oh my god, I’ve never seen anything like this, it’s amazing,” Alison observed.
