Dubbed 'The Enterprise' - because of its likeness to a spaceship - the centre on Pink Bank Lane has started welcoming its first customers.
Being vaccinated at the centre requires no appointment, visitors do not have to have a doctor or even an address. There are no immigration checks and people can literally walk in from the street.
It comes as infection rates in some parts of Greater Manchester continue to rise, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
