Moss Side.The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock at Manchester Magistrates Court earlier today (August 11).The 17-year-old, of Hulme, confirmed his name, date of birth and address.He has been charged with murder and an offence of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, both taking place on July 26.No pleas were entered.
There was no application for bail.The teenager was remanded into custody and will next appear at Manchester Crown Court tomorrow morning (August 12) for a preliminary hearing.At around 7.15pm on July 26, police were called to reports of a disturbance on Henbury Street, Manchester.
