A grandma has been left devastated after thieves apparently stole a number of gifts for her grandsons which had been left on her doorstep by a delivery firm.

Suzanne Hawkes says ordered the items, including designer polo shirts, from Sports Direct two weeks ago and was out when Hermes attempted to deliver them.

The 60-year-old, of Laburnum Avenue, Hull received a message telling her the items had been left in her porch - despite not having one, Hull Live reports.

Ms Hakwes was also sent a picture which showed the £150 delivery had been left on her doorstep in full view of her street. When she returned home, the delivery of polos, t-shirts, boxers and socks was gone. "They were all designer which is what all the kids want," Ms Hawkes said.
