mirror.co.ukThiago Alcantara has sent a message to Liverpool fans after testing positive for Covid-19 and entering self-isolation. The Spaniard, who arrived for £20m from Bayern Munich this month, was confirmed to have picked up the virus after two separate tests came back with the result.
It saw the midfielder miss the Reds’ 3-1 win over Arsenal and has ruled him out for the teams’ Carabao Cup meeting on Thursday as well as a visit to Aston Villa on October 4.
But Thiago only needed three words to send a message to the Anfield faithful on his current condition. Writing on his official Twitter channel, the 29-year-old said “time to heal” with a muscle emoji.
