Within the past 12 months, home sellers in the SK7 area of Stockport dropped their prices by an average of £10,381 to secure a sale, according to estate agents Property Solvers.

Tracking 1,643 property transactions between July 2020 and July 2021, the data was collected by comparing the average differences between asking prices on Rightmove and the actual sold prices lodged at the HM Land Registry.
