The National Cancel 2020 Homecoming Festival

billboard.comRock band The National have announced that this year's Homecoming festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been canceled and will not return until 2021.
The National's Homecoming was set to take place May 8-9 at Smale Park in their hometown of Cincinnati. The group was scheduled to play both nights of the event including a set where they would perform their hit album High Violet in its entirety to celebrate its 10th anniversary. "We made every attempt to reschedule Homecoming for 2020, however due to circumstances beyond our control, the festival will not take place this year as planned," the band said in a statement. "We look forward to bringing the event back in 2021.
