The Mousetrap is set to become the first show to re-open in London's West End after the coronavirus pandemic. The murder mystery play at St Martin's Theatre will make big changes from October 23 when it opens its doors again.
Some scenes will be altered so the cast socially distance on stage, and every other row in the 550-seat venue will be removed with seating arranged to accommodate families, couples and those attending alone to sit apart when the theatre opens its doors again.
Adam Spiegel, the producer of The Mousetrap, said: “I recognise that for the vast majority of West End productions, operating with social distancing is simply not possible.
