AS a schoolboy, Jeremy Clarkson was dismissed as a no-hoper and told he “couldn’t organise a p***-up in a brewery”. Half a century later and now a wealthy global celebrity, the petrolhead-turned-farmer has proved his naysayers wrong by becoming a fully fledged brewer.
And today he reveals he is launching his own beer for sale. He tells The Sun: “I wanted to have a brewery so I could have a p ***-up in it.
Now I can go back to my old careers teacher and say, ‘You see? I told you I could do it!’ It is a very well-made beer. I’m out for world domination.
Nothing less will do.” It is perhaps a surprising venture for Jeremy, 61, who was last year told by doctors to stop boozing for the sake of his health.
