A 30-minute phone call received by prime suspect Christian Brueckner may help police solve the mystery around Madeleine McCann's disapperance.
Hans Christian Wolters, the German prosecutor heading the investigation, suspects that a member of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, Portugal - where the McCann family was staying - may have helped the prime suspect target the apartment where Madeleine was asleep.
The call - which placed Brueckner in the Praia da Luz area - was made just before Madeleine went missing on May 3, 2007. It was received on a mobile phone belonging to the suspect at 7.32pm and finished at 8.02pm.
The three-year-old was left asleep in the apartment with her two siblings while her parents were having dinner at a nearby tapas
