in Tameside. A 17-year-old boy has now been arrested in connection with the knife attack which police say 'could easily have been fatal.' The 18-year-old victim was hit with a machete outside a property on Arundel Street in the centre of Mossley at around 10pm on Thursday June 11.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged and is now recovering at home. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and has since been bailed.
