Two teenage girls who were sexually attacked and robbed while on a lockdown walk in Russia have been ordered to pay fines for breaking isolation rules.
One of the teens was raped and the other was violently sexually attacked, say police sources. The longtime friends, aged 17 and 18, told police they had been attacked as they took a walk together in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk.
The attacker also stole their jewellery and mobile phones before running off. Police later detained a 55-year-old suspect who they alleged was found in possession of the missing items, said a law enforcement statement.
