Daily Star's biggest headlines straight to your inbox!A teenager was almost buried alive after getting stuck in a hole he dug in one of the UK's top surfing beaches.The unnamed 18-year-old had a lucky escape after the sand collapsed in on him sparking a major emergency response.Firefighters, police and paramedics joined frantic efforts to dig him out in Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall, on Thursday afternoon.They worked with members of the public, life guards and the Coastguard to dig the man out and remove him from the hole.Beachgoers were later warned not to dig holes in the sand after the incident "could have easily resulted in crushing or suffocation".Newquay Police Response posted on Twitter that the man had "dug a hole in the sand,.
