Palazzo Avino hotel perched atop Ravello, looking out over the mountains and see, is one of my favourites. I never ask for breakfast in my room, which I normally do, because the real joy is walking onto their breakfast terrace and seeing those sweeping views before you, as you order your coffee.It’s the best wake up call anyone could ever imagine.
It does something for the soul. They also have a fantastic gin bar, with a famous mixologist to hand, and finding yourself sipping one of his cocktails at sunset is just about as content as a person can be.Long, winding lunches are always a highlight; the famous Da Adolfo is a favourite.
