Organisers have described it as “the biggest outdoor event led by hardcore acts that the UK’s ever had”.Turnstile will be joined by a host of support acts on the day across four stages, including Alex G, Danny Brown, Drug Church, Feeble Little Horse, Fleshwater, Have A Nice Life, Julie and Knocked Loose.Elsewhere on the line-up are the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate, Model/Actriz, Superheaven and They Are Gutting A Body Of Water.

Metallica’s James Hetfield and Judas Priest’s Rob Halford were seen enjoying a recent Turnstile festival set.Both metal legends were filmed sidestage at Norway’s Tons Of Rock Festival, where Metallica headlined on June 26, and Judas Priest on June 28. Nova Twins, Tool and Parkway Drive were among the other performers at the festival.Both have been vocal proponents of newer artists in metal, throwing support behind the likes of Ghost and Sleep Token.

Splendour In The Grass festival has reportedly been cancelled.The supposed cancellation, announced by The Sydney Morning Herald and the festival’s official media partner Triple J, comes just two weeks after the festival revealed its line-up for July’s three-day event.The festival has yet to confirm its cancellation. NME has reached out for comment.Splendour In The Grass 2024 is scheduled to take place between July 19 and July 21.

Turnstile have announced a new sneaker collaboration with Converse set to drop this week.The Converse x Turnstile Chuck 70 and Converse x Turnstile One Star Pro are set to drop on Thursday (January 25), retailing at $95 (£74.57) and $80 (£62.79), respectively.The Chuck 70s pairs an all-black canvas with translucent details, featuring prints on the outsole and sockliner, along with a reflective ‘Turnstile Love Connection’ tour graphic.The One Star Pro pair, meanwhile, channels the band’s passion for skateboarding in the leather design, which has glitter stars on the side and a clear outsole with album cover art and embossed foxing tape with song lyrics. They also include the three lace options.This year Turnstile have shows and festivals booked in Latin and South America and Europe.

Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw has been revealed, including headliners SZA and Tyler himself.The festival will return for the first time in four years on the weekend of November 11-12 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.Alongside SZA and Tyler, Camp Flog Gnaw 2023 will be headlined by The Hillbillies, who many are assuming to be Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem, given their recent single of the same name.The pair’s official video for ‘The Hillbillies’ also featured Tyler, the Creator and was set outside Dodger Stadium. Turnstile have cancelled their sold-out show in Manchester, after “passport complications” left some of the members unable to enter the country in time.The huge show was supposed to take place tonight (August 16) at the O2 Victoria Warehouse, however, the US hardcore punk group have taken to social media to announce that it has now been rescheduled in light of the difficulties.Sharing the update on X (formerly Twitter) last night, they told fans that they had experienced some “complications” with their passports, and not all of them had been able to make it into the UK time for the show.They also apologised to fans for the inconvenience caused and revealed that, although some may be disappointed by the cancellation, they won’t have to wait long to see them live as they have already rescheduled the date for next week.“It is with deep regret we inform you that tomorrow’s show at Victoria Warehouse will be rescheduled for next week: THURSDAY, AUGUST 24,” they began.“Due to passport complications, not all band members were able to arrive into the country in time. We’re devastated and so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Turnstile and BADBADNOTGOOD have collaborated on a new EP, ‘New Heart Designs’ – listen below.Released today (August 11), the collection comprises alternative, jazz-orientated re-workings of three songs from Turnstile’s third studio album, ‘Glow On’, which came out in 2021.Toronto alt-jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD assisted the hardcore punk outfit on the updated versions of ‘Mystery’, ‘Alien Love Call’ (ft. Blood Orange) and ‘Underwater Boi’.Additionally, Turnstile have shared an accompanying 10-minute video that features each reimagined track.

Turnstile have cancelled their upcoming London show at Brixton Academy due to the venue’s continued closure.The band were set to play the venue on August 15, rescheduled from an earlier date in May.Now, they have been forced to cancel the show and have revealed that they were unable to find a replacement venue for the gig.They told fans on Instagram: “London: Due to the current status of the O2 Academy Brixton remaining closed, we are sad to say our show on August 15 is cancelled.“Despite our efforts, we were unable to reschedule or relocate to another location. Your booking will be refunded in full automatically.

Turnstile have rescheduled their upcoming Brixton Academy gig in London and announced a new date in Manchester.The hardcore band announced their biggest UK gig to date in London last year, which was originally set for May 30.Now, the gig has been pushed back to August 15, with a new gig at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse now added for the following day. They will be the band’s only UK shows of 2023.Brixton Academy is set to remain closed until April following the fatal crowd crush at an Asake concert at the venue in December – with a number of gigs beyond that now being relocated, including the Turnstile show and a gig from Dublin’s Inhaler.After the venue’s licence was temporarily suspended until January 16, Lambeth Council said that they would meet again on that date to discuss the future of the venue.

Turnstile have announced they are parting ways with guitarist Brady Ebert after 12 years together.The outfit shared the news in an Instagram story, writing: “We are deeply grateful for our time together. Turnstile are the latest guests on veteran Canadian interviewer Nardwuar’s YouTube channel, meeting the eccentric media personality while on tour in North America.The video, uploaded today (May 24), was shot primarily at Neptoon Records – a record store in Nardwuar’s hometown of Vancouver, British Colombia. The interview begins by Nardwuar and Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates exchanging framed photos of their initial encounter, which took place at South By South West in 2016.From there, Nardwuar gives various gifts to each member of the band – as is tradition during his interviews.
