Turnstile have announced a new sneaker collaboration with Converse set to drop this week.The Converse x Turnstile Chuck 70 and Converse x Turnstile One Star Pro are set to drop on Thursday (January 25), retailing at $95 (£74.57) and $80 (£62.79), respectively.The Chuck 70s pairs an all-black canvas with translucent details, featuring prints on the outsole and sockliner, along with a reflective ‘Turnstile Love Connection’ tour graphic.The One Star Pro pair, meanwhile, channels the band’s passion for skateboarding in the leather design, which has glitter stars on the side and a clear outsole with album cover art and embossed foxing tape with song lyrics. They also include the three lace options.This year Turnstile have shows and festivals booked in Latin and South America and Europe.

Metallica’s James Hetfield and Judas Priest’s Rob Halford were seen enjoying a recent Turnstile festival set.Both metal legends were filmed sidestage at Norway’s Tons Of Rock Festival, where Metallica headlined on June 26, and Judas Priest on June 28. Nova Twins, Tool and Parkway Drive were among the other performers at the festival.Both have been vocal proponents of newer artists in metal, throwing support behind the likes of Ghost and Sleep Token.

Paramore have unveiled a music video for ‘Thick Skull’ and spoken more about their future as a band.The video was directed by Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates, who also directed the video for ‘This Is Why’, and the storyline continues that video’s narrative. This time around, she’s being transported somewhere in the back of a van and the journey ends in disaster.‘Thick Skull’ is the final track to appear on the band’s sixth album ‘This Is Why‘, which was released last year.

Turnstile had the honour of throwing the first pitch at the Orioles baseball game on Tuesday, August 8 in their hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.The Baltimore Orioles game against the Houston Astros was held at Oriole Park in Camden Yards. I Think You Should Leave, the sketch comedy sensation created by mad genius Tim Robinson, has returned for its third season. All six episodes of the new season premiered Tuesday, May 30 on Netflix, and the fourth features a surprise, undercover, audio-only guest appearance.

Pulse Music Group has signed punk band Turnstile to a worldwide publishing deal via a creative joint venture with Rick Rubin’s American Songs. The agreement covers Turnstile’s entire song catalog, including their 2021 record “Glow On,” which boasts Grammy-nominated singles “Blackout” and “Holiday.” “We have been waiting a very long time for the next great rock band to emerge and feel very fortunate that we will get to work with Brendan and the band,” commented Scott Cutler, co-CEO of Pulse Music Group. “Welcoming Turnstile to our Pulse Music Group roster is a great example of what we set out to do creatively when we formed our joint venture with Rick Rubin. Paramore have shared an accompanying music video for their ‘This Is Why’ track ‘Running Out of Time’.The Ivanna Borin-directed video begins with frontwoman Hayley Williams listless in a recording studio, before giant, anthropomorphic drums and a guitar begin to lurch towards her.Escaping into a guitar case, things only get more fantastical from there, with Williams and her bandmates traversing throughout an array of vividly colourful, surrealistic landscapes. Thania Garcia The next Paramore era has officially commenced with the Nashville-based band releasing “This Is Why,” their first new single (and music) since 2017. The band also revealed their long-awaited sixth studio album of the same name will be released on Feb. 10 of next year, via Atlantic Records. “Entering back into a world — and cultural landscape — very different from the one they last participated in, Paramore have returned with a song about exactly that,” reads the single’s press release. “’This Is Why’ was the very last song we wrote for the album. To be honest, I was so tired of writing lyrics but Taylor convinced Zac and I both that we should work on this last idea. What came out of it was the title track for the whole album,” comments frontwoman Hayley Williams. “It summarizes the plethora of ridiculous emotions, the rollercoaster of being alive in 2022, having survived even just the last 3 or 4 years. You’d think after a global pandemic of fucking biblical proportions and the impending doom of a dying planet, that humans would have found it deep within themselves to be kinder or more empathetic or something.”

Turnstile have announced they are parting ways with guitarist Brady Ebert after 12 years together.The outfit shared the news in an Instagram story, writing: “We are deeply grateful for our time together. Our love for him continues and we wish him nothing but the best moving forward.”Ebert is yet to comment on his reason for leaving the band, and no details surrounding the circumstances have been given.

Turnstile have shared an official music video for their ‘Glow On’ album cut ‘New Heart Design’, alongside the news of a North American theatre tour slated for October.The video offers newcoming fans a preview of what to expect from the tour, comprising a montage of shots filmed during their recent stints in North America and Europe. Shot entirely on 16mm film, it was co-directed by singer Brendan Yates and longtime collaborator Ian Hurdle, the latter of whom captured the concert footage. As for the song itself, the version of ‘New Heart Design’ featured in the video sports an extended ambient outro. Their tour of late night shows reached a new level on Monday night when they brought an energetic "BLACKOUT" to Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

Turnstile are the latest guests on veteran Canadian interviewer Nardwuar’s YouTube channel, meeting the eccentric media personality while on tour in North America.The video, uploaded today (May 24), was shot primarily at Neptoon Records – a record store in Nardwuar’s hometown of Vancouver, British Colombia. The interview begins by Nardwuar and Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates exchanging framed photos of their initial encounter, which took place at South By South West in 2016.From there, Nardwuar gives various gifts to each member of the band – as is tradition during his interviews.
