The Linda Lindas have released a new single, titled ‘Resolution/Revolution’ – listen to it below.The rock band – comprised of guitarists Bela Salazar and Lucia de la Garza, bassist Eloise Wong, and drummer Mila de la Garza – shared the new track alongside a new video last week.‘Resolution/Revolution’ was inspired from Salazar’s Pantera and Judas Priest-listening binge, the band explained via a press statement: “Bela had been rocking out to a lot of Pantera and Judas Priest when we started writing ‘Resolution/Revolution.’ She came in with a riff and as we worked together, it morphed into composition about making small dents in big problems to make a difference in the long run.”Watch the video for The Linda Lindas’ ‘Resolution/Revolution’ below.‘Resolution/Revolution’ marks the band’s second single of the year, following ‘Too Many Things’ in April. Michaela Zee John Gosling, a former keyboard player for the Kinks, has died. He was 75. Gosling joined the Kinks in 1970 and stayed in the band until 1978.

Descendents have cancelled a European tour after frontman Milo Aukerman suffered a “mild heart attack”.The legendary Californian punk band were set to hit the road this year for a series of dates, but they have now been cancelled in order for the frontman to rest and recover.“We are truly sorry, but we have to cancel the upcoming European shows,” the band told fans in a statement.“Our singer, Milo, had a mild heart attack last night. Eagles co-founding member Randy Meisner is being remembered by former bandmates after he died at the age of 77 Wednesday. The Eagles said on their official Facebook page Meisner died from complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Rage Against The Machine‘s Tom Morello has become an honorary Italian citizen and been given the keys to his ancestral hometown.The guitarist was the subject of a ceremony in the town of Pratiglione last weekend (July 23), where mayor Giovanni Trucano presented Morello with his citizenship.It was revealed that the star’s great-great-grandfather Carlo left Pratiglione to live in the United States in the late 1800s.Morello said on Instagram: “I just became an honorary Italian citizen & received the key to the city of the Morello ancestral hometown of Pratiglione, Italy!“Bands played! Children frolicked! Dozens of Morello cousins partied! The mayor wore blue! Awesome guitar statue erected in town square next to the memorial for local partisans who died fighting the Nazis! The accompanying clip includes Gosling’s Ken shirtless, crying and incredibly emotional. “I’m Just Ken” is the latest original song released from the official “Barbie” soundtrack, which also includes artists such as Grammy winners Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish. Soundtrack producer Mark Ronson told Variety on the “Barbie” world premiere red carpet that Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash even played on Gosling’s record after being sent the track and finding it cool.
