Upon Seacrest’s exit, Ripa will be joined by her husband, Mark Consuelos, as her new co-host and the show will be rebranded “Live with Kelly and Mark.” Seacrest announced his pending departure on Thursday’s episode of “Live!,” saying: “Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career. She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other’s lives, I will miss our mornings together. I also want to thank Michael Gelman and the entire staff and crew – we’ve made memories to last a lifetime, met some of the most incredible people and had the warmest welcome into the homes of so many viewers across America. It’s been a memorable ride and now I’m excited to pass the baton to Kelly’s ‘real’ husband, Mark.” 

After six seasons, Ryan Seacrest announced on today’s Live with Kelly and Ryan that he is leaving the show.

Berlin Film Festival jury president Kristen Stewart doesn’t buy the talk that movies are dead. The film, a remake of the 1940 movie of the same name, is set in a fictional prehistoric time period in which cavemen lived alongside dinosaurs.The then 26-year-old actress had a contract with 20th Century Fox, which wanted to loan her to U.K.-based Hammer Studios for the project. "I told (Fox’s studio head) Dick Zanuck I didn’t think I was going to do it because it was a dinosaur movie and I didn’t want to be caught dead in a dinosaur movie," Welch told Fox News Digital in 2017.

The BBC has announced that it will air a new documentary all about Kanye West which, needless to say, will be somewhat of a different programme than if it had been made two years ago.With a working title of ‘We Need To Talk About Kanye’, the documentary will be fronted by investigative journalist Mobeen Azhar, who previously made ‘The Battle For Britney’ which put the spotlight on the controversial conservatorship that controlled the life and career of Britney Spears until 2021.The new documentary will, among other things, look at West’s political ambitions in the US, and how the rapper ended courting so much controversy with his increasingly offensive and dangerous statements that he stalled his music career and other business ventures.The BBC says: “Unfolding against the backdrop of Ye’s 2024 election campaign, and at a time when his behaviour has sparked outrage and a re-evaluation of his place in popular culture, this one-off documentary follows Mobeen as he attempts to understand the complex journey that led Ye to become one of the most famous and creatively successful artists of his generation. But more recently, to condemnation and notoriety”.A transmission date for the new documentary is yet to be announced.

Former head of sales, Thania Dimitrakopoulou, has been promoted to vice president of acquisitions and sales. Claudia Solano comes on board as senior manager of acquisitions, and Cécile Tollu-Polonowski, a long-time partner with the company, has been appointed as head of development. Dimitrakopoulou, who joined The Match Factory in 2007, will now be heading up all acquisitions activities and manage the sales team, reporting to Michael Weber, managing director.
