Suspect drink driver crashed into traffic signpost in Salford

A suspected drink driver collided with a traffic signpost - leaving their car in a bizarre state. Police were called to reports of the crash at around 11pm last night (November 7).

Crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended and assisted with making the area safe. The driver of the Peugeot was arrested, and following a roadside breath test, they provided a positive result of 83 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
