independence has increased to 54 per cent, according to a new poll suggesting a growing trend among Scots. The poll showed a 54-46 vote when people who haven’t made up their mind are removed from the findings.
The survey by Panelbase also shows more Labour voters are willing to back Scottish independence. Support among Labour voters increased from 35 per cent to 37 per cent based on the previous results.
Scottish Labour leader Richard Leonard hardened the party’s pro-union stance earlier this month. He said there is "no apetite" for a separate state.
