Campers have been rescued, cars are stranded on submerged roads and homes have been swamped by floodwater as Storm Francis batters the UK with 70mph winds and a month's worth of rain.
Firefighters launched two rescue boats after 7am to collect a group of campers who were next to a fast-flowing river in St Clears in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.
