Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones felt he lost one of his children when his daughter transitioned from girl to boy. The 45-year-old went through a “grieving process” and had to fight his prejudices when 15-year-old Lolita Bootsy became Colby.
But the family was “learning a lot” from the “scary” experience, he said. Colby, who initially came out as a lesbian before transitioning, has remained at an all-girls’ school.
