A thief threatened staff with a crowbar as he made off with cash from a Larkhall hotel.Gary Nesbit and an accomplice grabbed the money from a till at the unmanned reception desk.The incident left two members of staff shaken, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard this week.Nesbit, 28, of Dickson Street, Larkhall, was jailed for 13 months.He admitted stealing money and threatening employees at Radstone Hotel on October 25.Nesbit also admitted stealing cash and two charity tins after breaking into Larkhall Golf Club the same night.Neil Thomson, prosecuting, said the hotel reception was left unattended for a brief period during the evening.Staff returned to find two men behind the counter.Mr Thomson said: “When challenged the men ran off, but Nesbit did
