SSE Hydro shut its doors and Scottish events bosses say they need more understanding about what plans and expectations there are for the future out of the pandemic to attract big names like Beyonce.The Script, The Stereophonics, and Lewis Capaldi were amongst the last to play at The SSE Hydro and one year on from closing due to coronavirus, events bosses in Scotland are urging the Scottish Government to set a timetable which looks months, not just weeks, ahead.Chief Executive of Hydro Peter Duthie, chair of the Events Industry Advisory Group, who represents 23 senior representatives from the events and festival sector, said: "Planning takes a huge amount of effort to bring events to fruition.
