A Springholm man has received a national award for his volunteer work with a terminal illness charity.Jordan Henderson, age 24, was awarded a Marie Curie People Award in recognition of his work for the cancer charity.Jordan is the only volunteer from the Helper service to receive the accolade which celebrates the incredible achievements of Marie Curie staff and volunteers as well as recognising those championing the charity’s values.Jordan has been volunteering as a Marie Curie Helper since May, 2017, inspired by the care Marie Curie Nurses gave his papa.He said: “For me volunteering is about giving something back after seeing the support the service provided my family.“I have never done this to receive anything back other than knowing I
