During his yearly Brooklyn MJ Block Party, Spike Lee paid tribute to Chadwick Boseman after his tragic passing. As you probably know, the Black Panther actor had been secretly battling cancer for the past four years.
After it was shockingly announced that Chadwick Boseman passed away at the age of just 43 from stage 4 colon cancer, many fans and celebrities alike took to their platforms to remember and mourn the iconic actor.
That being said one of them is none other than Spike Lee, who honored Chadwick and remembered working together on Da 5 Bloods.
The director opened up about his experience working with the late actor while at his Brooklyn MJ Block Party he throws on Michael Jackson’s birthday every year.
