Spandau Ballet singer Ross William Wild has revealed he attempted to take his own life after being savagely ditched by the band on live television.
The 31-year-old Scottish star became a member of the iconic ‘80s band in 2018, replacing original frontman Tony Hadley following a lengthy audition process.
Ross joined bandmates John Keeble, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp, and Steve Norman for a tour in latter half of 2018, but was left deflated in early 2019 when progress with the band stalled.
The ambitious singer – who had previously performed on the West End with 58-year-old Martin Kemp in a production of Million Dollar Quartet – had been keen to seek other music and theatre opportunities while Spandau Ballet were off tour.
