Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.Aldi is looking at opening a new store in Uddingston as the firm announced plans to expand in more locations across Scotland.The supermarket chain is considering opening up shop in the Uddingston and Tannochside area after identifying there isn’t one nearby.The exact site has not yet been confirmed, however Aldi announced they are on the lookout for land around 1.5 acres and able to accommodate 20,000 square ft.The firm also confirmed they will ideally be looking for an accessible location on a prominent main road with good visibility that is easy to get to.Aldi announced they are looking at 19 new store locations in total in Scotland as part of their recent.
