And not only were all three of the 16-year-old’s strikes outstanding, but they appeared almost exactly the same.For all three strikes, Dibling glided through the midfield without a single Newcastle player being able to dispossess him.
The Southampton no.10 managed to avoid incoming challenges before striking the ball from the edge of the 'D' of the 18-yard box.His goals came in the sixth, 33rd, and 40th minutes, all in the same half as the Magpies finally learned how to halt him in the second.
And fans in the comments section were left awe-struck by both Dibling's quality and the ease at which he penetrated the opposition defence.One fan wrote: “Serious talent,” while another joked: “You'd think the Newcastle defenders might have figured out to close him down at least after the second one.”Was the goal down to bad defending or great attacking?
