Heavy snow is set to batter Scotland over the next 24 hours as temperatures plummet. Forecasters from the Met Office have issued two yellow weather warnings for snow and ice with travel disruption expected.
It believed around 10cm of snow could fall in some parts of the country throughout today with the warning in place until 11.59pm tonight.
The snow warning has been issued for Angus, Clackmannanshire, Perth and Kinross , Stirling, Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Higlands and Argyll and Bute.
