'SNL' Reveals How COVID-19-Era Live Audience Will Work

The 46th season ofSaturday Night Livepremieres this week — and the show will be performed in front of a live audience once again.

During the onset of the novel coronavirus pandemic, SNL did a few remotely produced shows at the end of last season. However, for this Saturday's show, the cast and crew — along with a live audience — will be back in Studio 8H.

However, tickets to the show's dress rehearsal and live show come with a long-list of health stipulations. For starters, all ticketed guests will be required to take a mandatory COVID-19 test upon arrival, according to the SNL ticket site. "This is a self-administered lower nasal antigen test with results yielded before the show," the instruction reads.
