Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Things got a little awkward on the first episode of Britain’s Got Talent. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were back once again for another series of the hit ITV show.

One act featured a ventriloquist dressed up as a scientist and his sidekick – a talking octopus called Mr Cuddles – and during the performance took a swipe at Simon's vanity.

Speaking to the judges, the sea creature said: "I’m going to win the money. That’s why I came on Britain’s Got Talent. "I tell you what I am going to do with the money – I’m going to rule the world." But Alesha wasn’t impressed, and swiftly hit her red buzzer.
