And, in Tier 4, weddings are banned unless there are exceptional circumstances – namely, ‘deathbed weddings’, where people marry before they die, or weddings where one of the couple is due to undergo life-changing surgery.In light of such strict restrictions, which could be in place for the “next couple of months”, according to Matt Hancock, it makes sense that couples might choose to postpone their weddings.
