Shop workers have revealed the underhanded tactics that chancers have used to get big bargains at the supermarket. We’ve all spent a little bit of extra time in the aisles to try and save as much money as we can during our weekly shop.
But, since the birth of self-service checkouts people have been going to extreme lengths to cheat the system to make the biggest savings.
In an example of attempting to save money, one shop saw a sharp increase of people ripping off stalks from broccoli in a desperate bid to reduce the weight, reports the Mirror.
