Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has named the five players he looked up to as a youngster, including former England international Michael Owen who featured for City's rivals Liverpool and Manchester United.
Aguero is currently in his ninth season at the Etihad and has developed into one of the greatest goalscorers the Premier League has seen, netting 180 league goals during his time in England.
Now, in an interview with City sponsor Etisalat Aguero has revealed his biggest inspirations, naming a number of South American legends alongside Owen. "When I was very very young I used to focus a lot on [Javier] Saviola that used to play for River Plate," Aguero said. "Later I focused on Tevez, [Juan Roman] Riquelme, then Ronaldo from Brazil.
