Scottish Government criticised over 'shambolic' Spain quarantine U-turn as opposition parties demand answers

It was announced on Saturday evening that thousands of Scots holidaymakers will have to self-isolate at home for two weeks when they return from the popular tourist destination due to rising virus infection rates in the country.

Holyrood ministers had previously announced on July 20 that Spain would be added to a list of countries it was safe to return from without having to quarantine - only for the decision to be reversed just five days later.
